First Aid/CPR/AED
Heartsaver®  First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.  
Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.  This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.

BLS - Basic Life Support for health care providers 
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a combination of rescue breathing and chest compressions delivered to victims thought to be in cardiac arrest.  When cardiac arrest occurs, the heart stops pumping blood.  BLS can support a small amount of blood flow to the heart and brain to “buy time” until normal heart function is restored. 
The CPR Provider or Renewal class is structured to include lecture using a multimedia format, followed by a skills lab. This is a video driven class and includes manikin practice. A written exam and skills exam conclude the session. 
Books are required.
