PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

The goal of the PALS course is to aid the pediatric health care provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes. Pediatric life support skills include recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest; the systematic approach to pediatric assessment; effective respiratory management; defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion; intraosseous access and fluid bolus administration; and effective resuscitation team dynamics

PALS RECERT $140.00

This is an American Heart Association PALS Provider/Renewal class. The class is held over 1 or 2 day,4-12 hours, depending on if it is an initial or recert.  A packet will be provided to you with the necessary class materials prior to the class and review of the material is recommended. All skills stations are taught in the classroom as well as testing, e.g., airway, mega code, etc. The written PALS final exam is proctored in the classroom as well. The preparation for the class prior to attempting completion is mandatory for successful completion.
